Historic Poster Final
For my moment in history I chose the Battle of Thermopylae. I decided on a simple design and let the moment's own granger speak for it self. Around the out side is the Spartan saying, in translation it means 'With it or on it'. The next layer is a vague description. The symbol in the center is the insignia on the Spartan hoplite shield. And between that the moment in history.

Jurassic Park Movie Poster
This is a poster for the movie Jurassic Park. What catches your eyes first are the flames to thee side. These catch your eyes because the layout is generally dark and these illuminate their surroundings alittle. The arrangement of the flames draw your eyes to the top and the words Jurassic park. Your eyes are then drawn to a sleightly opened gate that brings you down to a jeep. But once on the jeep, your eyes go up again, because between the door is a bright light, bringing you to the center of the poster.
This poster achieves unnity with a symetrical layout but variety with asymetrical objects, such as the jeep and foliage, as well with color and lighting.
